Our community Counseling Programs are designed to keep children in troubled families from peing placed outside the home. Our outpatient service philosophy is consistent with our agency focus on family, the primacy of relationships, and practical brief interventions. Our therapists utilize a solution focused, strength based approach. We assume that our clients are capable of resolving problems, are able to recognize their needs, and will actively utilize personal and community resources to resolve the conflict or dysfuction in their lives.
Case Management Program...
Protecting At-Risk ChildrenCase managers coordinate medical, educational, social and other support services for families with children having a serious emotional disorder or at risk of hospitalization or institutionalization. We also offer Therapeutic Child Support Services, that is, intensive paraprofessional support to parents as well as children. The goal for these programs is to keep the family intact. We serve boys and girls (ages two through 19).
Diversion/PATH Program...
Empowering FamiliesTeams composed of a Master level therapist, a Case Manager, and a Therapeutic Support Specialist serve families who are at-risk of having a child placed in out of home care. These teams offer a complete family assessment, a Family Service Plan, therapy, case management, parent education, and crisis intervention.
In-Home Counseling Program...
Empowering FamiliesTrained therapists offer intensive counseling, both individual and family, for families with children having a serious emotional disorder or at risk of hospitalization or institutionalization. The goal is to stabilize the family so the family can stay together. We serve both boys and girls (ages two through 19).
Therapeutic Foster Care Program...
Promoting a Homelike Setting for YouthThe foster care program provides children and youth with loving families and a safe, secure environment to successfully overcome the disappointments and disruptions of their past. We serve boys and girls (ages two through 21).
