Campus Residential
Our Campus Residential Programs provide short term (7 to 8 months) stabilization for abused and at-risk boys who usually come to us after numerous unsuccessful placements in the regular foster care system. We utilize a successful treatment model called the Psychoeducational Model or PEM, balancing new scientific discoveries in psychology with old fashioned family love and respect. Two of the main techniques of PEM are effective praise ("catching kids being good") and proactive teaching (reinforcing new social skills when the kids are NOT in crisis).
