Thanksgiving messages from some of our Kids:
This Thanksgiving I am thankful for being alive. Even though I am away from my family and friends I am still alive and breathing.
I am also thankful for not being out using drugs and getting into trouble. Although being here away from all of my family sucks. I am still thankful for being here because I am safe and have people who care for me.
I'm also thankful that all the members of my family are healthy and happy. And Also that I am in good health as well.
Thanksgiving means to me that it's a time to get with your family and friends. My favorite memory is when I woke up my grandma in the living room. I'm thankful for the staff, my state worker, and that I'm not locked up.
Thanksgiving means a lot to me because my mom is still my mom. My dad means a lot to me and my brothers and sisters do to but it really means that I'm really glad I have a family because most kids do not have families and I feel sorry for them.
My favorite Thanksgiving memory is when all of my family comes up and we play games and talk and then we go to each other's house and eat again or we feed the dogs and cats which we've had over three years.
I'm thankful for my family being there when I'm sick or when I have a court date and when I get hurt like get hit by a car like I did in two-thousand five. That's what I'm really thankful of because if I did, thank God, then I would be dead right now, so I thank everyone and God.
Thanksgiving means...a lot to me. It's my family members and I am thankful for my family because some kids does not have families and if I could adopt kids I would. And what is my favorite Thanksgiving memory..when I went to my aunt's house.
Thanksgiving means to me....A time when the family can gather together in a home and when everybody is there. It's a happy day.
